Prompted to design a poster advertising something not for sale, I wanted to market "youth." I chose the phrase "shattered inhibitions" to evoke the sentiment. I smashed wine bottles in a parking lot behind my apartment, to the horror of the neighbors, and photographed the shattered glass. I heightened the drama with color gradation, vector shapes, and sharp Didot lettering. For the digital advertisement supplement, I created a shattering motion graphic.
