In second year design class, we were prompted to choose an organization and design a PSA around it. After walking past the Planned Parenthood on Boston's Commonwealth Ave to and from class every day, and seeing groups of pro-life protestors out front, armed with signs, and shaming women in need, the stance was clear. My classmate, Sam Budow, and I chose the National Abortion Federation, and created a PSA targeted at those who are pro-life. We wanted to remind people that making abortion illegal did not stop abortions, it just drove them underground, where they are unsafe and put womens' lives at risk.

This was an early work. We made it in iMovie; it's simple, and could use some copy finessing, but I keep it here because it's an effective pieces of visual communication and is the genre of work I aspire to create.
